Lux meters

— luxmeters or photometers are used to determine the level of illumination indoors and outdoors. This parameter is measured in lux, hence the name of the devices. Their operating principle is based on capturing light with a built-in or external photo sensor and converting the results into the above-mentioned lux. Such meters are used to determine the quality of lighting, compliance of lighting conditions with prescribed standards, checking the efficiency of lighting devices, etc. They will also come in handy in cinematography and photography to set the correct exposure.
