Sound level meters

— measuring the noise level or sound pressure emanating from specific sources or present as general background noise. The measurement value is decibels (dB). As a rule, such devices capture sound waves with a built-in microphone and convert them into electrical impulses, analyzing the volume level. Sound level meters are used to assess working conditions at production facilities, determine whether the sound environment complies with acceptable standards, and to solve other similar problems.
