Watercolor pencils

— true to their name, these pencils have properties similar to watercolors: their leads are made of a water-sensitive material. Thanks to this, features appear that are not available to ordinary coloured pencils: for example, you can blur the borders in a drawing, ensuring soft transitions between colours, or immediately draw on a wet sheet for the same purpose. Also, watercolor slates are indispensable when basting contours for ordinary watercolor; the main thing is to choose colours in such a way that when applying paint, they merge with it.
