Electromechanical locks
Electromechanical
— combination of a classic mechanical mechanism with an electric drive: when a signal is given, the electric motor or solenoid is activated, unlocking the latch and allowing the door to open. Unlike electromagnetic locks, this lock remains closed even when the power is off (in most models), providing mechanical protection. It can be opened remotely (from an intercom, access control system) or manually — with a key or by pressing the handle. This lock provides reliable fixation, versatility in installation (mortise or surface mounted), and the ability to work in access control systems. It is used in private homes, offices, hotels, and entrances where security and flexibility in access management are important.| electromechanical | clear | Save List |
