Anyway, synthetic grades of stone are cheaper than natural ones, while their quality is often even higher. The specific properties of such an abrasive usually directly depend on the price category of the sharpener. We can only say unequivocally that with the same grain size, the "synthetic" abrasive provides a more delicate treatment than the "diamond" one, but it has a lower productivity and service life.
