LiFePO4 batteries are characterized by a large number of charge / discharge cycles, chemical and thermal stability, low temperature tolerance, short charge time (including high currents) and safe operation. The probability of an “explosion” of a LiFePO4 battery during overload is reduced to almost zero, and in general, such batteries can easily cope with high peak loads and keep the operating voltage almost until the very discharge.
