Rack mounting

— allows a battery module to be installed in a telecommunications or server rack together with an inverter, power distribution, and monitoring equipment. This design saves space, simplifies cable management, and allows the system’s capacity to be expanded incrementally.

Compared with floor-standing and wall-mounted batteries, a rack provides a neater modular system, which is especially convenient in a server room, communications hub, or residential energy installation. Before installation, check the rack’s width, height in rack units, depth, rail type, ventilation, and permissible load; heavy modules are usually placed at the bottom.
