The main advantage of such models is the low cost of both the pens themselves and the consumables for them. On the other hand, working with such a device requires caution, since there is a risk of burns when touching a hot material or device. In addition, the heater is usually powered by mains (or USB), which limits portability. However, these shortcomings cannot be called critical, therefore it is the “hot” 3V pens that have become most widespread nowadays.
