It has an even lower melting point — it reaches a plastic state at 45 – 50 °C, due to which it is the safest among the materials used in pens with a hot principle of operation (see “Product Type”). In addition, such plastic is positioned as reusable: for reuse, it is enough to soften the completed product in hot water. Completed products made of PCL have a glossy surface, the solidified material is quite elastic and flexible.
