Memory effect

Usually, a special type of polyurethane foam with additives is used for this, which shrinks under the influence of not only weight, but also the heat of a lying person. It is believed that the memory effect provides a high degree of orthopedicity — in particular, due to the most even distribution of the load, as well as the absence of the "pushing" action characteristic of springs and classic fillers.
