However, nowadays, this variety has fallen out of mass use.
Another type of seven-string guitar is the "Brazilian". It uses the BEADGBE tuning — that is, in fact, the standard six-string tuning with an additional bass string in tone B (electric guitars with this number of strings are also standard tuned).
