For a full-sized washing machine, carving out enough space is by no means always possible. Moreover, sometimes a narrow washer does not fit into the niche allotted for it at all. A way out of the situation is offered by super-narrow models with a case depth of a little more than 30 cm. In the product park of the Italian brand Indesit, these are marked with the U symbol.

Super-narrow form factor washers are front-loading and can hold about 4 kg of dry laundry in the drum. Large volumes of washing in them will need to be stretched over several approaches (for example, a couple of sets of bed linen). The set of programs for machines has up to 16 washing modes. Among them: fast cycle, gentle processing of delicate fabrics, etc.

The thinnest Indesit washing machines are made in the Ultra Slim design.

The skinny Indesit are powered by a traditional non-inverter drive. Of the additional options, they implement the functions of controlling imbalance and foaming, protection against leaks, and there is a delayed start timer. The command centre of the washing machines of the series is often represented by a classic panel with buttons and a rotary programme selection knob. The habitat of super-narrow washing machines is small kitchenettes and bathrooms.
