Capacity

— measurement of capacitance of capacitors. It is produced using alternating current supplied to the capacitor; according to the "reaction" of the part to this current, the device determines the capacitance.

This type of measurement can be used not only to clarify data on capacitors without marking, but also to check the performance of marked parts. Such marking often contains data on the permissible deviation from the nominal value; if the actual deviation is higher, the capacitor is damaged and cannot be used (if no data on the permissible deviation, you can use an indicator of ± 10%).
