Such devices are less accurate than digital ones, and the error can be associated not only with the low accuracy of the scale itself, but also with the features of reading the readings: if the user's gaze is not perpendicular to the scale, the apparent position of the arrow will not correspond to the real one. In addition, in analogue multimeters (see “Device”), the scale usually has several levels, and it can be difficult to quickly find the desired level and read the readings, especially if you are not used to it. On the other hand, devices of this type are simpler and cheaper, and they do not require power to operate in ammeter and voltmeter mode.
