Multimeters with PP3 battery
prices on 81 model— multimeters powered by PP3 batteries (usually 1 pc). Most often, this is the only power source, however, in some devices, it can be supplemented with AAA or AA batteries, or with the possibility of mains power.
Elements PP3 have a rectangular shape with a pair of contacts on one of the ends; they are produced mainly in the form of disposable batteries, batteries are quite rare. This type of supply is extremely popular in multimeters, it is even more common than the popular AA and AAA combined. This is due to the high operating voltage — 9 V; this voltage has a positive effect on the measurement accuracy and facilitates the implementation of some specific functions.
For the combination of these batteries with power from a wall outlet, see "Network". As for devices powered simultaneously by PP3 and AAA or AA, each type of battery in them is responsible for its own set of functions. So in the absence of one of the sources, only the possibilities directly related to it are inaccessible. Usually, “little finger” (“finger”) batteries are used for simple tasks like measuring resistance, and “PP3” for more complex modes. However, in general, such a combined diet is very rare.
