Drones without a camera

— drones shipped without a camera. This category includes two diametrically opposed categories of machines. The first, and most numerous, are inexpensive entertainment devices (see "Type"), in which the presence of a camera is not supposed in principle. Such models are intended for flights within the line of sight at a short distance from the operator, although their use is not limited to purely entertainment purposes — such a drone can be a good simulator for a novice pilot. At the same time, the lack of a camera allows you not to overpay for unnecessary functionality.
The second type of drones in this category are heavy industrial/commercial quadcopters (also see "Type") that have a gimbal for mounting a separately purchased camera, or even several at once. The specific compatibility of such models can be different — from working only with relatively simple and compact action cameras to the ability to install a full-fledged "DSLR"; these features should be specified separately. Also note that the design of such drones may include an auxiliary “peephole” for live FPV broadcasts (see “Functions and Capabilities”); however, if such a “peephole” does not provide shooting photos / videos, it is not considered a full-fledged camera, and the device is still included in this category.
