Devices with this feature may display at least the current cadence, and some may also display average and/or maximum cadence.Cadence data can be useful for a variety of purposes. So, for novice cyclists, this information makes it easier to choose the best gear for different situations; amateurs can evaluate their own riding style and, if necessary, take measures to change it; and professional athletes need information about cadence for effective training. Note that such measurements require a separate cadence sensor, it may not be included in the set.
