Grain machines Krups Essential on a compact chassis in a dimensional grid of 25x37x33 cm (WxHxD) fit perfectly into small kitchens - coffee machines of the series take up a minimum of free space on the working surface of the kitchen worktop. They only need a little space at the back, where the water tank is installed, and on the port side of the hull, from where the cake container is removed.

The machines of the family are equipped with a powerful 1450 W thermal block and a durable pump that can withstand pressures up to 15 bar. Whole coffee beans are ground by the built-in conical grinder with 3 grinding levels. The control system in the Krups Essential models makes it possible to adjust the strength, temperature and volume of the finished drink. Also devices of a series prepare two portions of coffee in one sitting.

Ristretto, espresso, lungo and coffee drinks based on frothed milk (cappuccino and latte) are brewed according to the Essential coffee machine standard. With rare exceptions, grain machines have a manual cappuccinatore, the operation of which requires certain skills from a home barista. Another distinguishing feature of the nature of the devices of the series is a non-removable brewing group with pre-wetting and hydraulic drive. The regular procedure for cleaning the brewing unit is carried out with special tablets after 300 coffee brewing cycles.
