The main products of the German company Melitta are all kinds of coffee machines and coffee makers for home and office use. Automated models of the brand with capacious tanks for water and whole coffee beans are marked with the Avanza brand. Technically and functionally, the machines of this family are practically indistinguishable from the devices of the Solo and Purista series.

A distinctive feature of the Melitta Avanza grain machines is a one and a half liter water tank (1.5 l) and a 250 g grain coffee bin. In addition, the control system allows you to adjust the strength of drinks (3 options). In a separate line, the device pleases with the function of pre-wetting the coffee tablet, which allows you to better reveal the taste of coffee.

The water tank on board the Melitta Avanza grain machines has a capacity of 1.5 liters, while the capacity of the bean hopper in the built-in coffee grinder is 250 g.

Milk and coffee drinks are prepared by Melitta Avanza “automatic machines” using a manual cappuccinatore with a steamer nozzle, which whips up a lush milk foam. Under the coffee machine dispenser, two cups up to 135 mm high are placed in one sitting. The control of the units of the series is entirely tied to an electronic panel with two mechanical "twists" and an indicator LED display.
