The KitchenAid Artisan planetary mixer series is one of the most extensive and recognizable on the market. It is targeted at a wide audience: from those who are just starting to enjoy baking to experienced bakers who value reliability, quality results, and the ability to expand the device's functionality over the years. The main competitive advantages are a combination of iconic design, durability, and a wide ecosystem of attachments.
All models in the series are built on a single structural foundation: a solid metal body, planetary mixing, power of about 300 W, and 10 speeds for precise control over the intensity of mixing. The standard Power Hub connection for attachments maintains compatibility over decades: attachments purchased many years ago fit current models, making the device a long-term investment.
Most models in the series are equipped with bowls ranging from 4.3 to 4.8 L, where you can knead about 2 kg of dough at a time. But there are also more spacious models with a bowl volume of up to 6.6 L, designed for preparing larger portions. They stand out from standard mixers with the presence of a bowl-lift mechanism, where the bowl is fixed on special holders. The standard package includes 3 attachments: a large whip for whipping, a dough hook, and a flat beater for mixing. Some models also come with a silicone spatula for gentle mixing of light, airy masses.
The main advantage of the range is a wide selection of models and colors for every taste. Within the series, there is the Design Series collection — a separate direction focusing on a unique appearance: a wooden or matte bowl of an unconventional shade, special body coating. The technical characteristics are identical to the other models in the series.
