Ice pick
— an ice pick is a tool used for crushing ice or preparing snow porridge (slush) and chopping frozen fruits and nuts. Unlike a regular chopping knife, it has serrated blades that can break the solid structure of ice without damaging the blade, and therefore it lasts longer. Ice picks are typically included in powerful blenders with metal or glass chopper bowls, and are also available for purchase as an additional accessory for blenders that do not come with one. Additionally, some blenders may also come with a heavy-duty chopper bowl specifically designed for crushing ice, nuts, and frozen berries and fruits.
