Simple and fast mouse. The disadvantages are not critical except for the first point.
13 May 2019
I've been using it for about a month or two for games, everything is fine. Conveniently, it can work both via wire and through a receiver. The presence of Bluetooth was a pleasant surprise for me; I did not expect such a function in a fairly cheap mouse. For the pros, I would probably recommend Logitech of similar series; it might be a little more expensive, but there won’t be any of the problems described below. If you have a Mac, you shouldn’t take it (at least for working via Bluetooth).
- The sensor's LED does not light up red like on cheap mice (that irritates me)
- The secondary buttons (on the left side and frequency switch) protrude too much and are easily pressed, they can be pressed unintentionally.
- There were instances when it couldn't reconnect to the receiver after being disconnected. If you connect it via a cable during this, it works fine. It was necessary to remove and reinsert the receiver. In the end, I moved it to the front panel of the system unit, and so far, the issue hasn't recurred.
- With a MacBook via Bluetooth, it works poorly, it lags and skips, making it unusable. But it doesn't always happen. With a Windows system through the receiver and cable, everything is fine.
- The battery is not very capacious. Can't say exactly, but maybe every couple of weeks, you need to connect via cable to charge it. There's no battery indicator anywhere, it just stops working. Or maybe the problem is something else, it's unclear due to the lack of a battery indicator.
- The RGB lighting is very bright, frequently and intensely flickers, but it can be adjusted in the iCUE program.
