The SteelSeries gaming mat comes in a standard rectangular shape and classic black coloring without any distracting prints or patterns. The model differs from most competitors on the market with its thickness, which is as much as 6 mm due to the very thick rubber base. As a result, the mat provides extra cushioning for your wrist. In addition to the rubberized base that provides stability and secure grip on the table surface, the SteelSeries QcK Heavy M has a microfibre fabric surface that is optimized for low and high-sensitivity motion tracking. The manufacturer says leading sensor manufacturers have tested the mousepad and concluded that the high thread count and smooth surface optimize mouse tracking accuracy for both optical and laser sensors. The mat is really durable, even the cat tried to sharpen its claws on it and the mat didn't even get scratched. It's pleasant to the touch, plus the mouse works perfectly, the top is quite smooth, while the bottom is quite the opposite, it's grippy and doesn't slide on the table with the mouse.
