DeepCool Assassin IV uses nine-blade fans: one 120 mm and the other 140 mm. Both fans are synchronized in operation.
On the top of the case there is a DeepCool company logo and a small switch responsible for high-performance (1700 rpm) and quiet (1350 rpm) fan operation modes.

A super tower CPU cooler from Deepcool that combines futuristic design and high efficiency. Belongs to the highest price segment, is part of the 2023 Deepcool Assasin super cooler line, designed to cool really powerful and hot Intel/AMD Mainstream, Performance and High-End Desktop class processors. In terms of quality, power and sophistication, it is approximately on the same level as the popular supercoolers Noctua NH-D15 and NH-D15S.

It can be equally useful both as part of a powerful gaming machine with overclocked components, and inside a workstation designed for video rendering, multi-channel audio processing, modeling, etc. This is already the fourth revision of Assassin, which differs significantly from its predecessors. In particular, most of the system is now hidden in a stylish plastic cube with perforations for free passage of air, and the turntables have different diameters so that the user can adjust the tower to the height of the RAM modules.

Plus, the number of supported sockets has increased: the list of supported platforms includes AMD AM4/AM5 and Intel LGA115x/LGA1200/LGA1700/LGA20xx. Overall, DeepCool Assassin IV is well made, looks solid, has a well-thought-out design and a convenient installation system. The radiator consists of a nickel-plated copper base, seven heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm and two sections of aluminium plates.

120- and 140-mm fans on hydrodynamic bearings are responsible for its airflow. The fans support PWM rotation speed control from 500 to 1650 rpm. The coolers support two operating modes: in quiet mode the turntables are almost inaudible (the total noise level does not exceed 23 dB), and in performance mode the cooler is capable of cooling a processor with a TDP of up to 280 W. Server sockets are not supported. Finally, it is necessary to note the large dimensions (height 164 mm) and impressive weight (1575 grams) of the device, which is important to consider when installing compact PCs and complex systems with a large number of components.
