An ultra-compact desktop-sized case designed to seamlessly integrate into modern interior environments. The front cover is decorated with a fabric insert, which simultaneously acts as a filter. The width of the platform is only 110 mm. At the same time, the case has great potential for creating a productive computer assembly. Chassis compatible with powerful discrete graphics card up to 325mm long, graphics mounted vertically.
The kit includes a PCIe x16 riser. Opposite the GPU are two high-performance Aspect 140mm fans with PWM speed control. The Fractal Design Ridge computer case is built with ease of assembly in mind. All front covers of the case detach easily and quickly, making it possible to get close to the chassis from any direction. A tower up to 70 mm high can be used to cool the processor. It is recommended to organize CPU heat exchange using a water block - this case provides the possibility of installing a 280 mm liquid cooling radiator. The platform comes with an adapter for vertical installation of a PCIe 4.0 or PCIe 3.0 video card, depending on the modification.

Stylish Horizontal Case with Fabric Covering
At the start of the decade, the Swedish company Fractal Design completely revamped its lineup of cases, and the Ridge series became one of the most successful implementations in the Desktop category. Essentially, the Fractal Design Ridge is an unusual horizontal case with a fabric front panel that seamlessly fits into home interiors. It can serve as a media center or even a monitor stand, combining aesthetics and functionality.
Support for Graphics Cards up to 325 mm in Length
The internal space is organized in the most efficient way, although it has its limitations due to its compact dimensions. Already in the basic configuration, the case is equipped with two Aspect PWM fans, whose power is sufficient for cooling mid-range components. Inside, you can fit a Mini-ITX motherboard, a graphics card up to 325 mm in length, a low-profile tower cooler, and even a small liquid cooling system with a 120 mm radiator.
Format Imposes Limitations
It should be noted that the Ridge is a compact and fairly tight case, especially when compared to mini-towers and "aquariums." When installing liquid cooling, the space for the graphics card is reduced to 175 mm, so shortened models will need to be chosen, or the GPU power demands lowered. Building requires meticulousness and thoughtful cable management — otherwise, the system will need to be partially disassembled. This is a typical feature of thin desktop cases, which are designed mainly for stylish multimedia or office PCs rather than powerful gaming stations with 4K graphics.
