A minimalist, highly ventilated Midi Tower that is ideal for high-performance systems thanks to its open design for excellent ventilation. The case supports a variety of motherboard formats, including E-ATX, ATX, as well as Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX boards, large graphics cards almost 40 cm long, tall tower coolers and 360 mm form factor liquid cooling systems. Based on the Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB, the user can build a powerful gaming PC or workstation with a Ryzen 9 processor, a large supply of RAM, several SSD drives and a flagship video card of the GeForce RTX 4090 level.

One of the key advantages of the case is its improved ventilation system. The case is equipped with three fans: two enlarged fans with a diameter of 160 mm are located in the front, and one 140 mm fan is located in the back. The ability to install radiators up to 360mm long on the front and top panels, and up to 240mm on the bottom panel, makes it an excellent choice for liquid cooling systems. To highlight the good airflow of the hull, Lian Li engineers used an all-round mesh design: the front and top panels of the hull are made of mesh material, and the mesh can also be used for the lower deck, which houses the power supply. Built-in ARGB fans can be configured via the motherboard or a separate controller to create unique lighting effects.

Just over ten years ago, Taiwanese brand Lian Li was exclusively engaged in the production of industrial cases, but after entering the consumer market, it quickly won the respect of gamers and enthusiasts thanks to its thoughtful design. The brand's engineering solutions are perfectly demonstrated by the Lancool 216 RGB case, which replaced the popular Lancool 215 model. This is an interesting Midi Tower case with a carefully thought-out layout, high-quality factory cooling and a capacity comparable to larger Full Tower solutions.

Convenient modular design

Compared to Lancool 215, the company's engineers have improved the modular design and optimized the air flow. Lancool 216 RGB uses larger 160 mm fans: a pair of such fans are located on the front panel, and one smaller one is on the back. The modular design allows, for example, when using air cooling, to raise the motherboard tray, improving the air flow to the processor and video card. Also, at the back, in the area of the expansion slots, you can install an additional fan to blow air onto the video card. In addition, the motherboard can be lowered lower, which is especially convenient for systems with AIO cooling or custom solutions with liquid cooling.

Improved ARGB lighting

Another significant improvement of Lancool 216 is the ARGB lighting system. Unlike the previous model, in the 216th version the lighting has become more flexible: users can customize the colors and effects for each fan separately, synchronizing them with other devices via popular control systems, including Aura Sync, Mystic Light and Polychrome RGB.
