Like previous GoPro models, this camera is waterproof (IPX8) and can be used underwater without a protective case (up to a depth of 10 meters). The shockproof plastic body fits securely in hand and attaches firmly to any GoPro mount. The included Enduro battery with a capacity of 1720 mAh enhances autonomy in low temperatures and extends recording time by up to 40% at moderate temperatures.
