The Miele induction cooktop is a premium price segment appliance. The model, with standard built-in dimensions of 560x490 mm, is 62 cm wide and suits both surface-mounted and flush-mounted installation (level with the countertop). Users are offered a set of 4 cooking zones, including a small one (for cookware from 9 cm in diameter) rated at 1.35 kW (located rear left), two medium zones (cookware from 10 to 19 cm) at 1.4 kW each (both on the right), and a powerful 2.3 kW zone (boost up to 3 kW) for large pots and pans.

The Miele KM 7361 FL cooktop features a glass-ceramic work surface that looks striking, is easy to clean, and is designed to maintain its original appearance for a long time. Interaction is via the ComfortSelect touch panel with a single 9-level slider. Users also get a keep-warm function and a booster for short-term power increase (for the largest zone, up to 3 kW), a Pause mode, a timer, and a child lock. The model also supports remote control via smartphone (Miele@home), as well as the Con@ctivity function. The latter enables automatic hood operation: it will switch on together with the burners and adjust fan speed according to the current heating intensity.
