Pico 4 Ultra

The standalone mixed reality headset, designed for gaming, entertainment, and productivity tasks with color pass-through video, represents an upgraded version of the base model Pico 4 and is positioned as a direct competitor to Meta Quest 3, offering comparable mixed reality capabilities at a competitive price. The computing platform is based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, which delivered a performance increase of 2.5 times.

The processor is complemented by 12 GB RAM and 256 GB built-in storage for apps and content. The reproduction of content is handled by a pair of displays with a total resolution of 4320x2160 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, 25% increased brightness compared to the base model and 62% improved rendering quality. The key feature of Pico 4 Ultra is the advanced color mixed reality system based on multiple stereoscopic cameras spread across the sides of the device for accurate perspective and depth delivery.

The sensor suite includes four cameras for tracking the environment, hands, and spatial positioning, two 32-megapixel sensors for pass-through video and AR content, as well as a depth sensor for precise object distance determination. Wireless capabilities include Wi-Fi 7 with data transfer speeds over 3 Gbps and maximum latency of 5 ms. The Pico OS, based on Android, supports multitasking with multiple windows and provides access to the Pico Store with over 650 VR applications and 40+ MR applications. The built-in AI can generate virtual environments. The headset itself weighs 580 grams, with an additional 27 grams for the motion tracker.
