HTC Vive Focus Vision

A standalone virtual and mixed reality headset in the mid and upper price segment focused on immersion and professional use, designed for gamers, developers, and corporate clients. The HTC Vive Focus Vision is a fully self-sufficient device, not requiring a PC connection for operation — all necessary computing power is integrated directly into the headset. The computing platform is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor paired with generous 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card.

The visual system is built on LCD displays with a resolution of 2448×2448 pixels per eye and traditional Fresnel lenses, providing a wide field of view of 120° for deep immersion in virtual worlds. Though the choice of LCD over OLED and Fresnel lenses over modern pancake optics might be considered conservative, it allowed for a wide FOV and accessible pricing while maintaining decent image quality.

The advanced tracking system includes two built-in eye-tracking cameras for foveated rendering and performance enhancement, four cameras for spatial and hand position tracking, two 16-MP cameras for quality passthrough video in mixed reality mode, and a depth sensor for precise scene and object recognition in the environment. Automatic interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment adapts optics for each user without manual settings. The built-in battery provides up to two hours of standalone operation. Communication capabilities include two USB C ports for accessory and peripheral connections, a Wi-Fi 6E module for wireless connection and streaming VR content from a PC, as well as Bluetooth 5.2 for controllers and other devices.
