The case is vibration-proof, non-slip, good wear resistance.
Speed very slow. The disk itself is very slow and has high latency. When fully loaded, 4K films with a bitrate of more than 80 are not played, only after formatting. Weak connector. When connected for a long time, the automatic switch does not turn off.

not every USB connector in the computer will be able to pull it, so don’t be surprised if the computer doesn’t see it))), when transferring a movie from the computer to this external drive, it starts to warm up to 41 * C, thereby the speed drops. The cord is short - 15 cm.

A-Data's DashDrive Durable HD650 is one of the few rugged HDDs that doesn't look like a bristling, battle-ready knight. Rather, on the contrary: thanks to its design features, it looks like a racing car.

The HD650's three-layer protective design features a durable, scratch-resistant plastic casing fused with a silicone casing that absorbs vibration when dropped. And hidden under this armor is a rubber frame that holds the disc inside the body and acts as an additional shock absorber. All this will help the disk painlessly survive falls from a table or a crush in a backpack. We cannot say anything about more specific “injuries”, since there is no information on the manufacturer’s website about passing the test according to the military standard MIL-STD-810.

The basis of the A-Data DashDrive Durable HD650 is a 2.5 format hard drive with a spindle speed of 5400 rpm and a total capacity of 1 TB. Interestingly, this is one of the rare external HDD models that offers an option with 4 TB of memory, which in the era of 4K and huge gaming distributions no longer seems overkill.

The drive is equipped with a modern USB 3.1 Gen1 interface for high-speed data transfer, which is compatible with earlier USB standards. Synthetic tests have shown that the drive is capable of producing the following figures: 116 MB/s sequential read and 112 MB/s sequential data write.
