Internal 2.5-inch solid-state drive designed for connection via SATA 3.0 interface. The model is geared towards users seeking an affordable solution for upgrading older laptops and desktop PCs, providing a noticeable speed boost compared to traditional hard drives. The drive is based on 3D QLC NAND memory. It offers a nominal sequential read speed of up to 520 MB/s and a write speed of 450 MB/s, allowing for efficient handling of everyday tasks like operating system booting, application launching, and multimedia file handling.

The A-Data Ultimate SU630 delivers a random read performance of 65,000 IOPS and a write performance of 40,000 IOPS, enabling the drive to ensure smooth system operation for multitasking scenarios typical of office usage or home use. The write endurance matches entry-level solutions for the consumer segment and is rated at 100 TBW. This is sufficient for standard workloads, such as regular document work, internet browsing, streaming video viewing, and media library storage. The mean time between failures is not specified in the technical characteristics, yet the three-year manufacturer’s warranty confirms the SU630's focus on long-term and stable use under moderate loads.

Model overview based on user reviews
The A-Data Ultimate SU630 SSD offers a cost-effective solution with its 3D QLC NAND technology, providing decent read and write speeds that are comparable to more expensive counterparts. Users appreciate its affordable price and the utility included for ease of use. However, some users have experienced stability issues and premature failures, with reports of the SSD dying within weeks or months. The 2-year warranty is seen as insufficient by some, especially given the low TBW of 100 TB. Despite these concerns, the SSD is recommended for those seeking an affordable upgrade for gaming or general use, but it may not be suitable for heavy, continuous data writing tasks.

a good model, I liked it
27 September 2019
The SSD was taken for games, the system is on the old Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB with the MLC memory type, so I will compare with it. This SSD is built around the new 4-bit 3D NAND QLC memory and the Maxio MAS0902A-B2C controller, and has received pretty good reviews in many reviews. Basically, given the price, this is one of the most affordable QLC SSDs at the moment. The available volume of an empty disk is 224 GB. As expected, CristalDiskMark performed well enough with 561 reads and 517 writes. My system HyperX 3K showed 533 reads and 157 writes, although it is 2/3 full and the write readings are somewhat underestimated. But you can still see how Adata is better on the record. It feels like the speed in games has not changed (compared to HyperX 3K), but the installation is many times faster now. If he speaks in general, then he is satisfied with the test results, I like the SSD and recommend it for upgrading your PC or laptop. But if you are planning an active and permanent overwriting - look at something on MLC memory (more expensive, but much more recording resource).
Decent speed, not inferior to inexpensive 3D NAND TLC counterparts. Pleasant price, one of the most affordable drives.
Low TBW: only 100 TB of field writeable data

Died after 6 months (the speed dropped very much)

Under warranty, they will most likely exchange it for the same one. I won't take it in the future.
price, barrel for 3,550 in DNS
worked for 6 months, then the speed dropped significantly. I ran HD tune Pro and found 2.5% bad sectors. Testing speed = 10Mb/sec. When working properly, speed = 300 Mb/sec

good model, liked it

I bought it and have no regrets. The speed is 20% more than the Patriot at 120 GB. The set is standard. I bought it at Telemart. The main thing is not to buy it at Stylus, as there's a lot of defects and fakes there, and you won't be able to prove anything.
Democratic price for a change to others.
Did not notice
