How to choose a gaming keyboardLet's look at the differences between the types of switches and additional equipment for gaming keyboards
Decent keyboard, I recommend it!
27 May 2022
What can I say? Excellent keyboard. I won't talk about the keys themselves, you understand that it's optical. The additional keys G1–G5 can be useful in games and work. The software is kind of crappy, but overall it gets the job done. Lots of built-in lighting modes. Animations, waves, etc. I chose the B880R also for the design of the casing. Keyboards with a design that no one cared about just annoy me. Just a rectangle with protruding keys, nothing convenient or beautiful. Here there are different cuts and indentations. The set included replacement keys and a tool to remove them. Cons:
There's no built-in memory, so the keyboard lights up only when the software is running on the PC.
The sound. Yes, I know it's an optical and gaming keyboard. But sometimes I don't need the keys to click loudly.
If you look at the keyboard from the back, the LEDs shine directly into your eyes.
The red insert surprisingly only lights up red, which is a bit disappointing.
The "Bloody" logo may wear off over time, either due to the heat in that area or just poor quality paint. But it's still worth buying the keyboard. I bought it for 74 EUR on Citilink in 2021.
+ Excellent keys
+ Additional buttons (G1-G5)
+ Software
+ Backlight
+ Various effects
+ Case design
+ Replaceable keys
- No built-in memory
- Sound
- Looking at the keyboard from behind might hurt your eyes. The LEDs shine brightly
- The red backlit insert can get annoying at times.
- The "Bloody" logo may wear off, even though it is raised
- Dust accumulates between the keys, but this happens with any keyboard
