Soft scissor keys. Pair of USB ports.

Classic wired full-size keyboard for comfortable work at the computer. Refers to the medium-low-cost models. The device has an ultra-thin body and attractive appearance. The island-type layout allows the user to type text without touching adjacent keys with their fingers — accidental pressing is excluded. In addition, the keys have a scissor structure — the use of this technology gives the output a very soft pressing, but at the same time the feeling of pressing is preserved, which is necessary for comfortable work.

The low stroke ensures near-silent operation and comfortable typing. The A4 Tech KV-300H keyboard contains a metal sheet inside the case, which greatly increases the reliability of the product. The case itself is made of plastic and is equipped with special rubber feet that ensure a stable position of the device during work or active gaming sessions. A nice addition will be the presence of two USB ports, which makes it possible to use the keyboard as a USB hub.

How to choose a gaming keyboardLet's look at the differences between the types of switches and additional equipment for gaming keyboards
Model overview based on user reviews
The A4Tech KV-300H keyboard is highly praised for its heavy and stable build, ensuring it stays firmly in place during use. Users appreciate the low-profile island-style keys with a scissor mechanism, which offer a pleasant tactile feel and quiet operation, making it suitable for both office and home environments. The keyboard features a full-size layout with a Num-pad and includes a built-in USB hub with two ports, adding convenience for connecting peripherals. While the keyboard lacks backlighting and multimedia keys, its minimalist design and durable construction are well-received. Some users note minor issues like key noise and the fixed typing angle, but overall, it is considered a reliable and stylish option for those who value functionality and aesthetics.

Great keyboard for its price.

If there was at least a simple backlighting of the keys and separate volume keys (or better yet, a wheel) it would be ideal.
Made of high-quality materials, thin, compact, heavy with rubberized legs (does not crawl on the table).
What's missing is simple key backlighting.

Great model for work/surfing.

Bought the keyboard 3 years ago. Still alive, all buttons work, nothing sticks. It happened that the keys began to jam / the sound of a spring was heard (after intensive gameplay, where I literally did 10 keystrokes of one key in a couple of seconds), but after disassembling and cleaning everything went away.
minimalism
Dull indicators CapsLock/NumPad/ScrollLock
There is a lot of dust on it, no matter how much you clean it, although maybe that's my fault too)

great model, I really liked it

The keyboard is awesome! Ordered it for work at the office a few months ago. I'll be getting the same one for home.
1. Heavy. With its weight and taking into account the rubber feet, it stands on the table like it's glued.
2. Island. The distance between the keys is convenient (large enough) even for sausage-like fingers)))
3. Quiet. If you don't pound the keys, you can work without disturbing those sleeping in the same room.
4. Full-size. A full numPad has never been superfluous.
5. USB hub with 2 ports. It's now easier to plug in the mouse and charge the watch))
This is not a disadvantage of this model, but I would be glad to buy the same one, but with a backlight (white). A4Tech, oh my!

Low profile island style keys with scissor design

At first glance at the A4 Tech KV-300H, one gets the misleading impression that we have another typewriter in the style of “bought copywriting for the office for days”. But this is not entirely true. First, it's one of the few desktop keyboards that uses low-profile island-style keys with a scissor design. Scissor keys are quicker and easier to press than membrane or mechanical keys, but they retain a clear tactile feedback and a fairly loud click. Because of this, she needs time to get used to, but as personal experience and communication with colleagues shows, it's worth it.

Ultra-thin model that is not afraid of dirt

The reverse side of the coin is the lack of water protection and difficulty in cleaning. The low seat makes it harder for debris to get inside, so you need to clean it less often than a regular membrane, but when it comes to this in a few years, prepare for it in all seriousness. Well, for games, such "light" buttons are not very suitable, accidental pressing in the heat of battle is guaranteed.

Visual aesthetics are important too

Visually, the A4 Tech KV-300H makes a good impression. Black buttons on a matte case with an aluminium texture look strict and minimalist, and the case itself turned out to be ultra-thin and unusually heavy and stable at the same time. And it's plastic, not metal. Add stability five rubberized pads scattered along the bottom. Instead of the usual retractable legs, there is a small fixed stand at the top of the bottom that holds the keyboard at a comfortable typing angle. A couple of additional Class 2.0 USB ports are hidden in the same stand. Considering the price of $30, this is a pretty useful bonus for those who do not want to fork out for an additional USB hub for peripherals.
