Compact format with a numpad, hot-swap, decent response (1000Hz, or 1ms), bright backlighting, rich package (I especially want to praise the switch and keycap puller, made quite well). Various features like a cable channel and two-level feet with rubberized legs, and also a detachable type-c cable, you can optionally use an aviator cable. Very cheap case material, when you take it in your hands, it cracks and creaks. The stabilizers are dry and of poor quality, the brackets are greased, which is not bad. It will not work to replace them, not a PCB mount, not a plate mount, but some kind of hat. Complete switches - cal. Complete keycaps - cal, ABS caps already become smooth after six months of use. There is not enough space for the ESC key. Puller does not fit there. I replaced the keycaps and the ESC started to get stuck, I will have to use sandpaper to sand the corners of the top cover of the keyboard. The software development department is staffed by furious idiots (BLOODY, MAKE NORMAL SOFTWARE!1!1!). Built-in lighting modes - cal, lighting editor - cal, macro editor - cal, design - cal. Bought a keyboard on sale at the beginning of 2024. It cost about 1700 UAH then. You won't find anything better for that price. The body is quite heavy, with rubberized legs. It holds well on the desk. The cable can be routed to the left, right, or center. Pleasant tactile sensations when pressing, fast, keys have a nice response, do not stick. Compact size, but all keys are present, nothing cut out, nothing extra. About 8 backlight colors and several modes. The package includes spare caps and switches. From the drawbacks, the "O" key did not work. But it was very easy to fix thanks to the spare switches included. Also, on the red version, the font on the red keys is hard to see, and they do not illuminate with the backlight. It's inconvenient in the dark. Compact size, cool design, quite heavy, interchangeable caps and switches included, decent feedback, fairly quiet The key wasn't working, had to replace it with a spare from the set. Until this point, A4Tech and Redragon had difficulty creating successful and inexpensive mechanical keyboards. Both Bloody S98 and Fizz give gamers everything they need without any of the frills or breaking the bank.
Thoughtfulness in everything
S98 Sports is a full-size model with a non-standard layout, where function keys are combined with a Num pad. Classic red switches produced in-house are ideal for both work and play, providing elastic and linear action with a crisp and unobtrusive click. Small details have also been worked out: adjustable legs, removable cable with three fixation positions, the ability to quickly switch game modes with the Fn + F9/F10/F11 keys, high polling frequency, durable keycaps with hot-swappable function, built-in memory, anti-ghosting, customizable RGB- lighting and multi-level sound insulation. The outdated design of proprietary software does not seem to be a significant disadvantage against the background of all these advantages.
Unique and vibrant design
The design of the Bloody S98 Sports and Redragon Fizz stands out from the typical mechanical keyboard designs. Unlike the standard black design with bright backlighting, the Bloody S98 Sports strives for uniqueness. It is equipped with unusual keycaps with sharpened edges, color highlighting of different types of keys (for example, black, gray and red or yellow) and neat backlighting that does not interfere with the game. The design of the model is reminiscent of gaming keyboards of the past decade, but at the same time creates a more modern and harmonious impression.
If you're looking to buy and use it out of the box, it won't suit you. There are many cheaper and better options. If you need a base for a custom and are ready to tinker and deal with all its problems, then you can consider it.
