No need to pay more

The A4 Tech KR-750 is proof that you don't need to spend a lot of money on a keyboard to get a comfortable, high-quality device to work with. This makes it popular in a wide range of office applications due to its overall build quality, ease of use, and moisture resistance. Although, in the latter case, everything is not entirely clear, since the model has drains for draining water, but the manufacturer does not say anything about full-fledged water protection.

Thin bezels

The keyboard has a rectangular shape with thin side edges. If it were a smartphone, it could be called frameless. And if it's no joke, then thin frames, combined with slightly protruding corners and an unusually shaped gap, give the appearance a certain zest. However, our review is not about beauty, but about convenience. And with this, the A4 Tech KR-750 is in order: the keys are pressed softly, they are large (especially the space bar) and damn quiet. It is unlikely that anyone has measured the noise of keyboards, but according to subjective sensations, this is one of the quietest typing keyboards on the market. Plus, the characters on the keyboard are laser engraved and won't wear off over time.

Low key travel

The only controversial point is the low key travel in the spirit of laptop keyboards. Theoretically, this is not the best solution for people who are used to touch typing at 300 – 400 characters per minute, since low key travel contributes to accidental keystrokes. But as practice has shown, although the keys have a soft stroke, it is extremely rare to press something by accident.

Rather, the problem in operation is found elsewhere — due to the rounded edges of the keys, tactile sensations are dulled, and when typing blindly, it is sometimes difficult to understand where one key ends and another begins.

Model modification:
  • Model KB-750 — high key travel
  • Model KR-750 — water resistant, low key travel
  • Model KBS-750 — Ergonomic key layout, high key travel
