The AEG gas cooktop is an advanced-class solution designed to appeal to demanding users. The appliance features an increased width (88 cm overall, while the built-in cutout is 83 cm), which made it possible to increase the number of burners to 5. In the center of the tempered glass work surface is a powerful wok burner with multiple flame rings, almost 13 cm in diameter and heat output up to 4 kW.
In addition, users get 3 standard heating zones at 2 kW and one (front right) economy or auxiliary burner at 1000 W. The AEG HKB 95450 NB cooktop offers well-spaced burners across the width, allowing the simultaneous use of several large pots or pans without them interfering with each other. The rotary knobs are complemented by two useful options — StepPower and FlameLight, where the former ensures precise flame adjustment with 9 levels, and the latter provides informative illumination for clear operating indication. In addition, the Hob2Hood technology automates control of a compatible range hood, and there is also an electronic timer for monitoring dish readiness.
