The TP-LINK outdoor Wi-Fi camera is a mid-price solution with a swivel mechanism (PTZ function) to expand visibility and implement tracking of an object in the frame. The model is made in a dome form factor, can be used in a wide temperature range - from -30 to +60 degrees Celsius, corresponds to the IP65 class. It uses a 1/3" sensor that is capable of broadcasting video with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
There is also a 3.9 mm fixed focal length optics and infrared illumination with a range of up to 30 meters, designed to work effectively in low light conditions. TP-LINK Tapo camera In addition to the motion sensor, the C500 has a speaker and a microphone for feedback.It also supports the playback of user voice messages.In addition to remote control from a smartphone with sending alarm notifications, it is possible to integrate the model into the eco-system of a smart home Google Home or Amazon Alexa.It is also worth noting the presence of a private mode (in which the camera stops shooting with one click), the presence of a slot for memory cards (media up to 512 GB are recognized), plus it is possible to store the video archive in the proprietary "cloud" (Tapo Care).
