The touchpad is compatible with Macs running OS X 10.11 or later with Bluetooth.
An advanced touchpad designed for use with Mac computers. Equipped with a working surface made entirely of glass, and in comparison with the previous model, the size of this surface has become one third larger. And the multitouch sensor was supplemented with the ability to recognize the force of pressing (Force Touch), which further expanded the variety of commands. In addition, the Apple Magic Trackpad 2's AA battery compartment has been replaced with a built-in battery, resulting in a much lower profile. The connection is via Bluetooth, and the computer must be running OS X 10.11 or later.
