Successful Debut
The ASRock PRO-750G is the brand's debut entry into the power supply market, although the company is already well-known for other PC components. ASRock started confidently: instead of the controversial ATX 3.0 standard with its problematic 12VHPWR connector, they immediately released models featuring the more reliable 12V-2x6 connector in ATX 3.1. With this cable, GeForce 5000 graphics cards receive not the maximum 600W, but still an impressive 450W.
Green Marker
The power line for the graphics card can handle brief consumption spikes of up to 200%. To ensure correct connection of the 12V-2x6 plug, there is the proprietary ASRock Classic Green indicator. The connector should be inserted until the green marker is completely hidden. The power supply is in a non-modular format, so it comes with two EPS 6+2-pin connectors for Radeon 9000 graphics cards.
Gold Medal
The 80 PLUS Gold certificate indicates a high efficiency of up to 92%, although this model has not undergone independent noise level testing by Cybenetics. Therefore, we rely on the manufacturer's statement about the quiet 120mm Low Noise fan. The main and filtering capacitors are manufactured in Taiwan, the input voltage range is 100 – 240V, and safety is ensured by six types of electrical protection: OCP, SCP, OVP, UVP, OTP, and OPP.
