The hardware basis of this model was the TU116 GPU (12 nm) with the Turing microarchitecture. Unlike its predecessor (DUAL-GTX1660-A6G-EVO), the Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER DUAL EVO Advanced is equipped with much faster GDDR6 graphics memory running on a 192-bit bus. Thanks to the increased effective clock frequency (14000 MHz vs. 8000 MHz), the weighted average gaming performance has increased by 10-20%. The quiet dual-fan cooler, which is based on two heat pipes that are in contact with the graphics proce...ssor using DirectCU II technology, also deserves a high positive assessment. At light load, when the GPU temperature does not rise above 55 °C, the Axial-tech fans stop and the cooling system enters a completely silent passive mode. In conjunction with a powerful CPU, the graphics card can provide a consistently high frame rate in any popular games of 2015-2020 at a resolution of 1920x1080 at maximum or high graphics quality settings.
