The Asus GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER TUF OC is a 2024 upgraded version of the high-end gaming graphics card based on NVIDIA's advanced Ada Lovelace (5nm, 2022) microarchitecture. This SUPER model replaces the standard RTX 4080, which previously occupied the leading position in the NVIDIA 4000 series of video accelerators, second only to the flagship RTX 4090 with 24 GB of video memory.

It is positioned as a premium product designed for integration into high-end gaming systems with advanced Intel/AMD processors, powerful power supplies and high-quality 2K/4K monitors. Ideal for workstations involved in 3D rendering, 3D graphics processing, artificial intelligence and big data, as well as authoring and editing content. The heart of the video card is a modified AD103 chip with 10240 CUDA cores and a 16 GB GDDR6X memory buffer (256-bit bus).

The operating frequency of the GPU is 2640 MHz, and the memory is 23000 MHz. This model is 4-6% faster than the standard RTX 4080, delivering an average of 50-60 FPS in visually rich games like Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, A Plague Tale: Requiem at high graphics settings in 4K resolution. At 2K resolution the card works exceptionally efficiently, while at Full HD its power is excessive.

This GPU features third-generation ray tracing cores and fourth-generation tensor cores. DLSS 3.0 supersampling technology, trained to work with new data types, has significantly improved image quality compared to DLSS 2.0, especially noticeable when gaming in 4K.
