RTX4080S-O16G-NOCTUA

Asus GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Noctua OC is a high-performance pre-top-level video card, created in collaboration between the Taiwanese component manufacturer Asus and the famous Austrian processor cooler manufacturer Noctua. In contrast to most modifications of the RTX 4080, it uses a slightly shortened printed circuit board, the body and casing are painted in Noctua's traditional wood colors, and there is no backlighting.

For cooling, not three standard, but two enlarged Noctua NF-A12x25 fans are used. The base houses a massive radiator with an evaporation chamber and 8 heat pipes, which provide effective cooling, allowing the video card to operate stably and without overheating under high loads. If necessary, the cooling system can switch to Quiet silent mode. The length of the video card is 31 cm, thickness is 4.3 slots per board, so the manufacturer recommends considering exclusively spacious Midi Tower cases with full-format ATX boards.

With an official TDP of 320 W, the manufacturer recommends an 850 W power supply for stable operation with possible overclocking. The performance of the video card is ensured by the improved AD 103 chip (5 nm, Ada Lovelace), equipped with 10240 stream processors and capable of accelerating to 2550 MHz. The memory buffer includes 16 GB of GDDR6X video memory, and a 256-bit bus is used for data exchange.

One of the key characteristics of the GeForce 4000 series video cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture is the use of new generation tensor cores, which significantly expand the capabilities of DLSS supersampling technology. The DLSS 3.0 version of this technology is adapted to work with a wider range of visual data and includes an innovative Frame Generation system capable of generating dropped frames. This helps to avoid stuttering, stuttering and other visual artifacts due to lack of performance. This technology is especially important when using hardware ray tracing and in 4K resolution. In terms of pure performance, the RTX 4080 SUPER beats the regular RTX 4080 by 4-5%. And the advantage over the previous generation analogue RTX 3080 in some cases can exceed 30%.
