How Much Memory Does a Video Card Need in 202516 GB - the new hit of the season? Or is 8 GB still enough? Let's figure out the optimal VRAM volume for modern games.

Performance mystery: Why mobile graphics cards are inferior to discreteLet's look at how NVIDIA cheats with different versions of chips and why laptop manufacturers slow down graphics cards

The graphics card needs support, otherwise it will warp over time. I hung mine with a zip tie. Insert, updated the drivers, and forgot about it. The card is quiet. Runs great, almost everything on max settings. The talk about AMD having software issues is nonsense, never had any problems with it. Everything's awesome!!! You need to take into account the size of the case and the price is a bit steep use Asus Radeon RX 580 ROG-STRIX-RX580-O8G-GAMING more than year |
I got the graphics card as a replacement for my 1060/3, which was paired with a Pentium G4560. In some games, I could see the processor struggling, and in others, there wasn't enough video memory. So, I decided on something similar but with more memory and not too expensive. I'm not chasing ray tracing and other fancy features because all those RTX effects need a powerful processor. Since I replaced the G4560 with an i5-7500, I believe this graphics card is quite enough for now, ensuring that the GPU doesn’t run at 100% while the CPU is just idling at 40-60%. My power supply is 450W, which is sufficient for stable performance, along with 16GB of DDR4/2400 RAM and an M2 drive. The graphics card itself is well-assembled, nothing is loose, and it’s clear that the build quality is solid. The fans are quiet and don’t whistle or rattle like you sometimes find in other setups. The entire PC runs quieter than a laptop. Now, regarding FPS in the games I've played (on ultra settings in Full HD): - Fallout 4: 50-70 fps - The Witcher 3: 50-60 fps - WOT: 80-130 fps Overall, it delivers a comfortable minimum of 50 frames per second, so I’m quite satisfied. If I ever decide to buy a top-end processor, I'll get a matching graphics card, but for now, this setup is more than enough for the 2019-2020 period. Pulls everything I need, price. No |
The top runs everything on ultra everything that has been played nfs payback 65 degrees 100-150 fps cs at maximum all 250-300 fps nfs heat 60-80 fps No use Asus Radeon RX 580 ROG-STRIX-RX580-T8G-GAMING month or more i recommend it should buy |
