High-end 2022 motherboard from Asus in the popular gaming series Asus Republic Of Gamers. Unlike most of its counterparts, it is equipped with a mid-range AMD B550 chipset (socket AM4) and is designed for experienced gamers who know exactly why they've come to the store and don't like overpaying for marketing. It is designed to work with most AMD Ryzen processors released between 2017 and 2022 (families Vermeer, Cezanne, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge, and Pinnacle Ridge).

Despite being mid-range, it includes most of the signature features of the flagship ROG Strix series. In particular, this includes PCIe 4.0 support, a powerful 14-phase power converter for the processor, DIGI+ voltage stabilization modules, impeccable cooling of critical zones, OptiMem storage optimization technology, dual-mode UEFI BIOS, etc.

The board's firmware has additional tools for troubleshooting, as well as user overclocking profiles that remain even after reflashing the board. Additionally, the Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II boasts two M.2 ports with additional cooling, 2 steel slots for video cards with the ability to operate in dual Crossfire mode, 4 DDR4 RAM slots with a maximum clock frequency of 5100 MHz, as well as numerous thermal sensors, connectors for LED strips, and several free zones for a water pump. As a bonus, it comes pre-installed with a wireless module featuring an integrated Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 receiver. The SupremeFX audio system is equipped with a dual amplifier and supports multi-channel sound virtualization technology.

Not a bad motherboard, but it could be better; pleasant to use.

Wanted to get a motherboard with support for the 5950x, with Wi-Fi for VR gaming, PCIe 4.0, and good ARGB. Generally satisfied in terms of BIOS, but the Wi-Fi is a bit odd… The Wi-Fi module is from AMD and it has some buggy drivers with very limited network configuration options, making it hard to get a stable bitrate above 90-100 Mbps… though this is enough for comfortable gaming, you just need to find “the right” driver. Also wanted good sound, but the onboard sound wasn't too impressive, or perhaps my expectations were too high. For diagnostics, there are only 4 LEDs that show the system boot state, so if the system doesn't start, you'll see where the instability occurs.

The design is fine, there's space for different types of drives, the power subsystem more than meets the needs of Ryzen processors, ARGB, NVMe radiators.
No convenient power/reset BIOS buttons directly on the motherboard, no postcode display, even though they cost next to nothing.
