High-end closed-back on-ear headphones with high-tech Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), support for aptX Hi-Res codec, NFC and excellent battery life. They are distinguished by high sound quality and a folding design that is convenient for everyday use. Equipped with special 45 mm dynamic drivers, which, according to the manufacturer, are capable of reproducing an extended frequency range from 5 to 40,000 Hz.
Thanks to this versatility and a relatively flat frequency response, a balanced, close-to-monitor sound is achieved, devoid of excessively tight bass or an overestimated level of high-frequency sounds. Thanks to ANC support and good passive noise isolation provided by memory foam ear cushions, the Audio-Technica ATH-AR5BT headphones can be used in really noisy places such as busy city streets, subways, public and air transport. Thanks to the presence of a built-in bluetooth module, they can be connected "over the air" to any modern smartphone, laptop, tablet or compatible portable player. There is a possibility for one-way wired connection (cable with microphone included). The built-in lithium-polymer battery provides up to 30 hours of autonomous sound and charges in about 5 hours.
