be quiet! Pure Base 500 is the junior model of the computer case of the eminent German brand. However, what be quiet! is considered a low-cost solution, most other brands have almost a premium class. It is a 7kg steel case (and in the case of the version with tempered glass side window 7.5kg) with good capacity and noise isolation. Moreover, the kit comes with two interchangeable top panels: perforated ventilated and deaf soundproof. There are three colours to choose from: black, grey and white.

Everything will fit

The Pure Base 500 holds a CPU tower cooler up to 190cm high, graphics cards up to 37cm long (even with a dual 3.5" HDD cage installed), five 2.5" SSDs, three 14cm fans, or five 12cm (or three bay) dropsy). By default, a pair of be quiet! Silent Wings 2 with speeds up to 900 rpm and noise level up to 17 dB.

Maximum noise isolation

In addition to the top panel, the front and side panels also received soundproof felt upholstery (with the exception of the glass version). The power supply bay features a removable bezel for easy installation and a decorative shroud to keep wires neatly tucked away. There is also plenty of space for cable management between the motherboard tray and the side wall of the case.

Keeps dust out

Easy-to-remove dust filters mounted on the bottom and top of be quiet! Pure Base 500. In addition, the perforated side faces of the front panel are removed. The plugs of the PCI-E slots on the rear panel are also made reusable. Simply put, everything is done wisely in order to simplify as much as possible both the process of initial assembly of a PC and its subsequent cleaning and upgrade.
