The base version of the Shadow Base 800 case, introduced to the market by the popular and renowned brand be quiet! in 2023, is positioned in the high price range. This modification uses a set of fans (three at 140 mm) from the Pure Wings 3 series. The fans are non-illuminated but come with PWM speed control capability. The chassis has good compatibility with full-size high-power components.

The case dimensions are 522x247x550 mm. The Full Tower platform is recommended to be equipped with an E-ATX motherboard and a high-performance processor with a 180 mm cooling tower. The be quiet! Shadow Base 800 gaming computer case can be fitted with a liquid heat exchanger. The chassis can support two water-cooling radiators: 360 and 420 mm. The graphics card slot has a length of 430 mm.

The PCIe slots are rotatable. With vertical installation of the covers, there's an opportunity to side-mount the graphics adapter. In this case, a stunning view of the beautiful architecture of the GPU and other components opens up through the viewing panel. On the power supply cover, there is a diffuser directing airflow to the discrete graphics. The computer case has several higher-end modifications, differing in the number of fans and the presence of ARGB lighting.

The dust filter can be easily removed for cleaning. With its 3 pre-installed 140mm Pure Wings 3 PWM fans, the Shadow Base 800 offers enough airflow to cool even the most demanding components. Despite their high performance, the Pure Wings 3 offer silent operation. Even at maximum speed, the fans run at only 21.9dB(A). With its remarkably large dimensions, the Shadow Base 800 sets no limits to creativity.
