A simplified version of the Blackview BV9900 has retained the design of the older model, but has undergone some changes in the hardware. However, the main feature is still preserved — it is still a secure device with a whole bunch of certificates: IP69K, IP68, MIL-STD-810G. As a result, it is not afraid of water, external damage, dust and sand, withstands immersion in water to a depth of up to 1.5 metres for half an hour, falls from a height of up to 1.5 metres and temperature changes, working stably even at 30 degrees below zero. Of course, this could not but affect the dimensions: the dimensions of the tube are impressive 156.5x78.3x14.2 mm. If we discard protection, Blackview BV9900E is a good option for stable operation and everyday tasks. The...5.84-inch IPS display has a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone runs on the Android operating system. It is based on the Mediatek Helio P90 processor, which is complemented by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, expandable with a memory card. However the slot here is hybrid — either for two SIM cards, or for one SIM card and a memory card. For a battery capacity of 4380 mAh, support for fast and wireless charging is claimed. The 16-megapixel front camera is located in a waterdrop notch, and the main one includes four modules: a 48 MP Sony IMX582 sensor, a 16 MP wide lens, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 0.3 MP depth sensor. In addition, the gadget received a fingerprint scanner on the side, an NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and a built-in barometer.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Blackview BV9900E 128 GB / 6 GB smartphone offers a robust performance with its ample memory and ability to handle most games efficiently. Its strong connection and call quality ensure reliable communication, even in challenging areas. The device is water-resistant, successfully tested for durability, and runs on Android 10, providing a modern software experience. However, some users have noted issues such as the phone heating up during charging, a discrepancy in the battery capacity, and wireless charging not functioning. The design features, including metal edges and thick bezels, may not appeal to everyone, and the interface lacks some features found in other brands. Despite these drawbacks, the phone's overall performance, especially in terms of memory and connectivity, makes it a solid choice for those seeking a durable and reliable device.
Pros

Cons

Now you can probably find a more interesting option.

The advantages are described in the characteristics.
1. Metal edges make it difficult to prop it against something at an angle; it always tends to slip, so I had to buy a case. Also, scratches remain on it when dropped.
2. The battery shows 3800mAh, although more was claimed, but the phone charges quickly and lasts at least 1.5 days.
3. It heats up when charging with a cable. I don't know how this will affect the charge.
4. Wireless charging doesn't work; I don't know why.
5. After the first fall from 1.5m, the speaker stopped working but managed to get it working by tapping it. It seems it isn't secured very well.
6. The interface is bare, and you won't find many useful features like those on Xiaomi.
7. The screen has thick bezels, looks like it's from the last century. I like that the phone isn’t huge, but it would be perfect if the screen were bigger and the bezels smaller.
8. Thick. It feels that way in the hand, not as comfortable to hold as usual.
9. The volume control isn't smooth enough, I want to make it a little louder, one press and it's already too loud. There are abrupt jumps.
10. The screen colors are mediocre, can't compare to AMOLED.

I haven't regretted the purchase for a day.
20 February 2021
Taking into account 10 android, 6 GB of RAM, 128 built-in, a scanner on the side and a more or less classic aspect ratio, a quite decent device for 22,200 rubles (bought on 02/10/2020) In ten days I managed to get used to the weight and to the less bright screen than in Lenovo P2 .
The connection holds where most people fall off. The call volume is strong, without wheezing. The main advantage for me is water resistance, I tested it in a full bath for 30 minutes. And of course, the presence of 10 Android. There is at least 2GB of RAM left under heavy load. Photos in the dark almost no noise.
Video stabilization using the native program blurs the image. The open camera solves it 100%. The barometer and pulse sensor, which most people don’t need at all, only makes it more expensive. In fact, all the shortcomings. The only drawback for me personally is that the charge lasts three days under average load. Calls, WhatsApp, a few photos, videos, the Internet, YouTube..., but I’m comparing it with the Lenovo P2, and it would be difficult to compete with it even for most modern flagships that cost 40-50 TR if the Lenovo P2 had Android 10. Therefore, the shortcomings in the BV9900E are negligible.
