A simplified version of the Blackview BV9900 has retained the design of the older model, but has undergone some changes in the hardware. However, the main feature is still preserved — it is still a secure device with a whole bunch of certificates: IP69K, IP68, MIL-STD-810G. As a result, it is not afraid of water, external damage, dust and sand, withstands immersion in water to a depth of up to 1.5 metres for half an hour, falls from a height of up to 1.5 metres and temperature changes, working stably even at 30 degrees below zero.

Of course, this could not but affect the dimensions: the dimensions of the tube are impressive 156.5x78.3x14.2 mm. If we discard protection, Blackview BV9900E is a good option for stable operation and everyday tasks. The 5.84-inch IPS display has a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone runs on the Android operating system. It is based on the Mediatek Helio P90 processor, which is complemented by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, expandable with a memory card.

However the slot here is hybrid — either for two SIM cards, or for one SIM card and a memory card. For a battery capacity of 4380 mAh, support for fast and wireless charging is claimed. The 16-megapixel front camera is located in a waterdrop notch, and the main one includes four modules: a 48 MP Sony IMX582 sensor, a 16 MP wide lens, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 0.3 MP depth sensor. In addition, the gadget received a fingerprint scanner on the side, an NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and a built-in barometer.
