The rugged Blackview smartphone is perfect for travel and extreme leisure, and will also become a reliable assistant for people working in difficult conditions. The design is quite classic for a rugged device: a massive body with rubberized inserts, reinforced corners, metal edges and closed connectors, thanks to which the device does not slip in the hand and is able to withstand immersion in water, falls from a small height, shock and other serious tests.

This is confirmed by IP69 certificates and military MIL-STD-810. Hence the large dimensions and weight of 322 g. Also, the “highlight” of the Blackview BV9800 Pro is the main camera, which can not only take pictures (thanks to the 48-megapixel sensor), but also plays the role of a thermal imager with a maximum displayed temperature of 400 degrees. With a selfie, they did not become sophisticated and added a regular 16-megapixel camera.

The remaining characteristics of the smartphone are also at a fairly high level: a 6.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels, a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, 6/128 GB of memory and a capacious 6580 mAh battery, which will provide long battery life. One charge should be enough for 14 hours of video playback, 27 hours of phone calls, 30 hours of music listening or up to 840 hours of standby time. This is especially important if you are going on long trips or hikes where you won't have an outlet close at hand. What's more, the battery supports 18W fast charging and 10W wireless charging. Also useful will be a fingerprint scanner responsible for security, an NFC, an infrared port and a barometer for measuring atmospheric pressure.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Blackview BV9800 Pro 128 GB / 6 GB is a rugged smartphone that stands out for its thermal imager functionality, which is highly valued by users, especially for industrial applications. It boasts impressive durability and protection features, including shock and water resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments. The phone offers satisfactory battery life, lasting up to two days with regular use, and excellent sound quality that can be heard even in noisy settings. Additional features like an IR port for remote control and a LED status indicator add to its appeal. However, the phone's size and weight are considered bulky, and some users report performance issues such as sluggishness and glitches. The camera's video mode is criticized, although the thermal imager and photo mode are appreciated. Connectivity issues, particularly with Bluetooth, and limitations with the SIM and card slot configuration are noted drawbacks. Despite these cons, the Blackview BV9800 Pro is a robust choice for those needing a durable smartphone with specialized features.

I'm happy with the purchase, I'm satisfied with everything.
Thermal imager, I took it because of it. The price of CAT analogues is many times more expensive. they are inferior in terms of hardware. I took industrial cold for work, it is very convenient to look at the operation of units, the input and output of goods, and the overload of elements in electrical panels. in a week of using jambs I found heaps! The IR port is also a remote control in my case for all office air conditioners from which the remote control ALWAYS loses! The sound of the bell can be heard even during a nuclear explosion (before this it was impossible to reach me because of the noise, no telephone could be heard) Everything works well and properly. The battery lasts 2 days, I don’t play games, but 3-4 hours of navigator a day is stable, + frequent use of instant messengers, calls, etc. I also liked the LED status indicator, a very convenient thing, it’s a pity not all phones have it. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about, they can hear me, I can hear, it works quickly, the camera takes good pictures, the screen is visible in the sun, the print works well. I haven’t checked the water resistance yet, the shock resistance has so far fallen from 0.5 m onto concrete.
I was disappointed by the size and weight, I always bought shockproof phones, they cannot be small and light by default, but this one broke the record. It doesn’t fit in a regular pocket; I wear it in the hip pocket of my work uniform. The thermal imager froze once, I rebooted the phone and everything worked. I came across defective headphones, I didn’t change them, I never use headphones. Another inconvenience is the plugs for the headphones and chargers; firstly, you can’t open them without fingernails, and secondly, somehow they don’t inspire confidence in their waterproofness.

You can try to buy.

I use two weeks, drowned my mi max 3, bought a waterproof one. A little convenient, not familiar buttons are located, the menu is not very convenient pure android, after miu. Size does not scare, weight too. The thickness was a bit of a surprise. Three times thicker than normal. Overpaid for a thermal imager.
I didn’t check the waterproof, the thermal imager works, there are gadgets, a noise meter, a level, etc.
The volume buttons on the left, bought the case were not pressed, cut out the holes. Something warms it, although -2 on the street, as if there were no surprises in the summer. The battery is normal for a day. It charges in two hours, the camera is on the screen (I'm used to it). One sim and a card, or only two sims, the adapter for the sim from the old one could not be used, the tape is short, and the phone is wide, but I saw everything and the sims and the card. Of course, the video of assembling BV phones is frightening, the Chinese are stupidly twisting screwdrivers at the table. Bought from the seller of the last phone worked for two years without problems

usual model, nothing special

I no longer recommend buying it, it glitches a lot. It constantly prompts to either wait or close the program.
The thermal imager is still pleasing, the camera in photo mode
Sluggish device. The camera in video mode is a nightmare.
